These digital marketing and management resources have helped me tremendously. They are incredibly user-friendly and great for beginners.
Canva is a tool for designing social media posts, stories, & more! This resource is free, but there is a paid version. There are a lot of templates and features included within the free version, unlike many other design programs.
Canva is great for beginners without much design experience. One tip for beginners, do not overuse templates as they may not reflect your brand.
Homebase is a scheduling and management tool for small businesses. This resource is available as an app in addition to their website. Homebase has made scheduling as a manager much easier.
Employees can request time off, communicate with managers and other employees, switch shifts, & set their desired amount of hours. Employees also receive messages reminding them of their shifts.
Facebook Business Suite is a great resource for social media management that is already included with Facebook/Instagram Business Accounts. It helps with scheduling, analytics, & keeping track of direct messages.

This resource allows scheduling for stories in addition to regular posts, which sets it apart from other tools. You can also manage and purchase ads through this resource.
Basecamp is a project management tool that offers both free and paid versions. There are a multitude of features that come even with the free version of this tool.This resource is great for keeping track of projects big and small.
You can create to do lists and assign/notify people of tasks as needed. There is a message board, scheduling feature, & different documents and files can be uploaded and shared.
