My name is Emily Muench and I am currently a senior at Baldwin Wallace University. My major is Digital Marketing and I have minors in Social Media Production & Media Production.

My first year in college, I started a mental health club on campus called Active Minds. The goal is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness. We try to provide an open space to talk about mental health.

 

I recently finished my fourth year of being president, and the group has grown significantly from where it started. The organization even has its own dedicated space on campus.

 

We put on several events each semester and have partnered with numerous clubs on campus. Our membership has steadily grown over the past three years, and we now have regularly attending members.

I am in charge of multiple social media accounts for several different organizations, including The Exponent. Each of these organizations has a unique demographic, providing me with the opportunity to learn about each organization's audience.

I am also extremely passionate about the arts, specifically music. I spent four years stage managing a variety of plays, musicals, & other events. I have a lot of experience with event management as well.

 

Each fall, I travel across the country, performing at Oktoberfests in my family's band. This experience has caused me to have a strong interest in tour management as well as sound design and technology.
