I created and managed a band for a month-long Christmas event, where I was responsible for bringing the show’s vision to life. This included assembling a talented live band, selecting and arranging music to create a festive and engaging experience, and ensuring all performances ran smoothly. My role required a blend of creative and organizational skills to meet the high standards of the production.
Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with performers and production staff, keeping everyone aligned with the overall vision while troubleshooting any challenges that arose. By focusing on clear communication and a shared goal, we delivered a series of performances that brought holiday cheer to audiences throughout the month.

Project Scope
The project involved assembling a professional band, designing a music program to fit the show’s theme, and managing all logistical details, including scheduling, rehearsals, and performance execution. The goal was to deliver a cohesive and engaging musical experience that enhanced the overall event.
Preparation
I started by consulting with the production team to understand their vision for the show. This included determining the type of band needed, selecting appropriate music, and creating a Google Drive with all performance information. I also handled communication to musicians and held rehearsals as needed.
Execution
With the band in place, I created set lists and communicated with the musicians to ensure everyone was on the same page. I worked with the venue and production staff to coordinate technical elements, including sound checks, to allow for a seamless set up and tear down process.
Oversight
During the show’s run, I ensured each performance met quality standards by troubleshooting issues in real-time and keeping the team motivated and focused. I also gathered feedback from the event organizers and team to refine performances over the course of the month.
The Process
This was the first time for this event and there was a significant amount of adapting and implementing changes throughout the month.
Results
Successfully organized and directed 20+ performances over the month.
